Imagine an ancient village perched at 470 m above the sea level, next to the delightful Medieval village of Pari. This hamlet, called Monte Acuto, boats an ancient tradition. Born with the name of "Montegutolo", it owes its reputation to the Earl of Ardenghesca, under whose rules the community expanded between the XII and XIII century. Soon after Siena, considered the strategic position of Ardenghesca, subdued the territory, of which Monteagutolo became the stronghold. The complex organization of the community leads to its own statue, dating back to 180, deemed the oldest in vulgar language.
That's how the story of Mount Acuto begins.... so do you want to join?
